This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• In the role of Sales Manager, you will be tasked with finalizing contracts with new clients, specifically targeting mid-sized and large insurance firms.
• You will oversee the complete sales funnel — from assessing opportunities and analyzing needs to signing contracts — while functioning as a strategic sales professional with expertise in technical consulting.
• You will take full ownership of the entire sales process.
• This includes conducting discovery calls, presenting solutions, negotiating proposals, and closing deals.
• You will work closely with presales, product teams, legal departments, and partners.
• You will develop customized solution scenarios utilizing the EMIL Insurance Suite.
• You will provide advice on business value, feasibility, return on investment (ROI), and IT integration.
• You will assist in creating statements of work, pricing strategies, and contract models.
• You will be responsible for building and maintaining your sales pipeline within the CRM system.
• You will be accountable for achieving targets, forecasting, and planning for closures.
• You will implement structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger).
• You will identify and engage with all decision-making stakeholders (IT, business units, procurement, executive management).
• You will foster trust and long-lasting relationships with key contacts.
• You will analyze market trends and customer needs while supporting the go-to-market strategy.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales within the insurance or IT industry.
• A proven history of closing enterprise deals with values ranging from six to seven figures.
• A solid understanding of sales processes, contract negotiations, and IT system environments.
• High levels of self-motivation, a structured working approach, and strong closing capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly at the C-level.
• Native-level proficiency in German, along with good written and spoken English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
