Claims Manager – Travel Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Process and manage travel insurance claims, including lost baggage, medical expenses, trip interruptions, etc., with a primary focus on the French market.

• Engage in daily communication with policyholders, service providers, and partners both in France and internationally.

• Evaluate coverages to ascertain claim eligibility and determine appropriate settlements.

• Oversee administrative follow-ups and maintain updated case files within our systems.

• Play a role in the ongoing enhancement of processes and the quality of services provided.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in insurance (e.g., BTS Assurance, Professional Bachelor's) or equivalent commercial training.

• Proficient in French (native level or equivalent), with a good command of both German and English, in spoken and written forms.

• Strong orientation towards customer service, excellent interpersonal skills, and outstanding communication abilities.

• Comfortable using IT tools, particularly MS Office; experience with claims management systems is an advantage.

• Highly organized, self-sufficient, and a collaborative team player.
