RN Telephonic Nurse, Compact Nursing License Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver telephonic education, encompassing disease- and drug-specific information, to patients and their caregivers.

• Adhere to clinical protocols while operating within the nursing scope of practice and established guidelines.

• Evaluate and document clinical data along with interventions.

• Coach and empower patients, concentrating on their overall health and wellness.

• Relay new symptoms and health-related issues to the patients’ treating physicians.

• Collaborate with the nursing network and foster a patient-centered clinical environment.

• Assist clinical departments with the training and mentoring of new hires.

• Perform peer-to-peer quality documentation reviews and provide constructive feedback to management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Registered Nurse (RN) compact license is mandatory.

• Must be a resident of a compact state.

• Possess an active, unencumbered license in the state of residence.

• Successfully completed the NCLEX or a state board exam recognized by the relevant authorities.

• Ability to apply for additional single-state licenses without any restrictions.

• It is a condition of employment to maintain all nursing licenses required for the position.

• Completion of microbiology coursework is necessary for obtaining California licensure.

• Possess knowledge and experience in Neurology/Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Asthma, Oncology, or Pediatrics.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications.

• Minimum internet speed requirement is set at 5 Mbps upload / 2 Mbps download; cable broadband or fiber optic is preferred.

• Home internet must also meet at least 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload requirements.

• Excellent phone etiquette is essential.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
