RN, Registered Nurse – Clinical Documentation Improvement Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute educational programs for clinical documentation aimed at CDI specialists and healthcare providers.

• Create an orientation and onboarding program tailored for the CDI team.

• Provide education to team members regarding review processes within the CDI program.

• Develop annual training based on updates in coding and clinical documentation.

• Work in partnership with healthcare professionals to achieve program objectives and enhance documentation.

• Guide and train CDI personnel.

• Assess and review documentation for compliance and precision.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of RN work experience is required.

• Certification as a Clinical Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP).

• Certification as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS).

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.

• At least 6 years of clinical experience is mandatory.

• Familiarity with updates in coding and the CDI industry.

• In-depth knowledge of clinical care updates.
