Risk & Trading Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Acquire foundational knowledge in monitoring bet tickers.

• Demonstrate the capability to swiftly conduct price comparisons.

• Contribute accurate and insightful bet notes.

• Gain proficiency in both internal and external trading tools.

• Comprehend the relationship between Vegas and third-party provider consoles, and recognize when actions are necessary (such as price reductions, market suspensions, or removals).

• Support traders with grading, customer service inquiries, notifications, and manual market creation.

• Track liabilities, promotions, and irregularities in real time.

• Identify suspicious activities and report cases of bonus abuse or sharp players.

• Assist with exposure dashboards and reporting assignments.

• Develop skills in player profiling and basic risk segmentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline, such as mathematics, business, or other analytical fields.

• Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a trading environment or in risk assessment and calculation within insurance or finance is advantageous.

• Strong general knowledge of sports betting and a keen interest in betting and odds are essential.

• Data-focused mindset with excellent mathematical abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility is crucial, as working hours will depend on business requirements; must be available for flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.

• Capability to operate in a fast-paced environment and make prompt decisions.

• Exceptional time management skills are required.
