Risk Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement risk management strategies for trading operations.

• Recognize, evaluate, and alleviate operational and market risks.

• Conduct risk assessments for new markets, tournaments, and product launches.

• Establish effective fraud prevention strategies and uphold operational integrity.

• Deliver regular risk reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of over 6 Risk Analysts, defining structure, priorities, and direction.

• Manage the entire employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to performance evaluations, salary negotiations, and termination – with HR support.

• Cultivate a positive team environment through regular one-on-one meetings, feedback sessions, and team-building initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve risk operations via automation and process enhancement.

• Work collaboratively with Product and Data Science teams to innovate risk assessment tools and systems.

• Prepare invoicing details and partner with Controlling on financial reporting.

• Over 5 years of experience in betting risk management.

• In-depth knowledge of sportsbook products and operations.

• Proven experience managing high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.

• Strong proficiency in financial oversight and bonus distribution.
