This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.
• You are a leader who removes obstacles.
• You will mentor and empower shift leaders, enhancing their prioritization, decision-making, and overall team performance.
• Identify bottlenecks from a distance.
• Develop, improve, and sustain organized workflows that reduce friction and facilitate the department's seamless expansion into new markets.
• Oversee daily operations within Payments (Withdrawals, Fraud, KYC), ensuring consistent and prompt processing that exceeds our SLAs.
• Serve as the primary coordination point between Payments and cross-functional teams (CS, VIP, Product, Finance).
• Ensure alignment, clear communication, and unified direction among all team members.
• Lead operational meetings, reviews, and reporting to guarantee transparency, clear accountability, and actionable follow-ups across the board.
• Advocate for automation.
• Track operational KPIs to proactively address risks and define the operational requirements necessary for launching new payment methods and product initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in Payments, Fraud, Risk, or Operations within the iGaming sector, with at least 2+ years in a leadership position.
• A confirmed history of imposing order on chaos, enhancing workflows, and actively nurturing your team's skills.
• Profound knowledge of KYC protocols, risk management controls, and standard operational tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, payment platforms).
• You don't merely analyze data; you leverage it to identify inefficiencies, close operational gaps, and make informed decisions.
• You communicate fluently with Product, Finance, and Customer Support, seamlessly managing coordination across departments.
• You excel in fast-paced growth settings, take great pride in your work, and possess the capability to independently drive initiatives.
