This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Executes a variety of responsibilities in alignment with departmental standards.
• Conducts risk evaluations for remote workplaces and provides consultative risk enhancement services, often involving large and/or complex accounts.
• Supplies remote risk assessment data on intricate accounts to aid the underwriting process for prospective, new, and renewal accounts.
• Delivers relevant Risk Control suggestions or business solutions to mitigate identified risks.
• Evaluates the risk control program requirements of clients and formulates a tailored strategy along with a supporting implementation plan for further enhancements or improvements.
• Proposes strategies for the development and execution of risk control policies, marketing, and business strategies to bolster local Branch and overall organizational profit and growth objectives.
• Cultivates and sustains business relationships with internal and external partners through remote collaboration, with occasional in-person meetings as necessitated by business requirements.
• Designs and leads remote education sessions, training, and presentations.
• Offers expertise in one or more specialized fields to both internal and external clients, primarily through remote service delivery methods.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Generally requires a minimum of five to eight years of risk control experience with a proven record of achievements, including experience in delivering remote or consultative risk control services.
• Advanced technical knowledge and product-specific expertise, along with risk control evaluation and assessment skills, and an understanding of insurance and risk control principles, practices, and procedures, including remote assessment methods.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Capable of effectively engaging with all levels of internal and external business partners in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments in a work-from-home environment.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in handling ambiguous situations and challenges.
• Innovative in tackling unique and complex business issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software applications.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required, acknowledging that the position is primarily remote/home-based.
