Director, Risk Adjustment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main operational partner for external clients within medical groups and health systems.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and present intricate risk adjustment data.

• Oversee a department consisting of over 70 production coders and auditors.

• Create, track, and enhance departmental KPIs related to coding and auditing accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent educational background.

• Active Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) certification is preferred.

• A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in risk adjustment operations.

• 3 to 5 years of direct management experience overseeing a large team (50+ coders and auditors).

• In-depth knowledge of the complete CMS-HCC Medicare risk coding model.

• Demonstrated experience working with software development teams, UX designers, or engineers.
