Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee Line 1 incident and breach management to guarantee prompt identification, resolution, and risk mitigation.

• Enhance the effectiveness of risk and control by collaborating with stakeholders on assurance testing and addressing issues.

• Convert risk insights into clear and actionable guidance that assists risk owners in making informed decisions.

• Foster efficient and compliant practices by aiding in the development of business processes and controls.

• Offer reliable, commercially sound risk and compliance advice that supports safe and sustainable business operations.

• Promote a robust risk culture by advocating for Line 1 risk in change initiatives, projects, and governance forums.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess relevant qualifications in financial services (RG146 is mandatory).

• Hold a Diploma of Financial Services or a qualification in risk/compliance is advantageous.

• Have practical experience in risk management, compliance, or controls assurance within a regulated financial services setting.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of life insurance, superannuation, and the wider financial services landscape as it relates to real business decisions.

• Exhibit practical knowledge of risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and manage risk in a commercial environment.

• Communicate effectively and confidently, simplifying complex risk concepts into actionable, business-oriented advice.

• Cultivate strong relationships and leverage sound analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-driven insights.
