Revenue Integrity Review Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive record assessments to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing best practice processes.

• Execute reviews utilizing sound judgment.

• Exhibit proficiency in crafting effective clinical documentation queries.

• Uphold a high level of productivity.

• Ensure alignment with customer expectations.

• Collaborate with internal teams by providing insights from record assessments to enhance site performance and implement best practice improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification in Health Information Management.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) position.

• Certification as a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of medical record coding, healthcare billing, and revenue cycle management is preferred.

• Over 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care environment is preferred.

• Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) is preferred.

• Willingness to travel for departmental and corporate meetings.
