This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Conduct medical and revenue audits to guarantee revenue integrity in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as the policies of external payers and coding standards.
β’ Utilize analytical and problem-solving abilities to make independent decisions.
β’ Offer essential analytical and negotiation assistance regarding third-party payer reimbursement agreements.
β’ Accountable for performing quality control audits to verify data/documentation integrity and for communicating findings and recommendations.
β’ Gather information and/or create reports and analyses that present the results of data integrity assessments along with suitable recommendations.
β’ A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, management, healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is required.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing and/or coding is essential.
β’ Clinical experience is advantageous.
β’ Coding certification (e.g., CCS, RHIA, RHIT) or relevant experience is preferred.
