Revenue Cycle Informaticist – Electronic Health Records

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support for the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program.

• Act as the subject matter expert on revenue cycle workflows, encompassing charging, coding, billing, claims management, and revenue integrity.

• Collaborate with clinical, Health Information Management (HIM), finance, and operational stakeholders to enhance downstream revenue cycle processes.

• Assist in implementation and sustainment initiatives.

• Resolve workflow challenges.

• Ensure precise capture and reconciliation of clinical revenue.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in supporting medium to large IT projects.

• Extensive experience in back-end revenue cycle operations.

• Familiarity with hospital and ambulatory billing workflows.

• Background in coding, HIM, and claims management.

• Knowledge of how clinical documentation affects the revenue cycle.

• Experience with EHR implementation, optimization, or support.

• Proven ability to collaborate with clinical, operational, and financial teams.

• Understanding of Indian Health Services workflows.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health electronic health record.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year, if required.
