Retirement Plan Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and submit annual Form 5500 returns along with all associated schedules.

• Execute annual nondiscrimination testing including ADP/ACP, top-heavy, coverage, etc.

• Analyze and apply ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations in relation to retirement plans.

• Collaborate with plan sponsors, auditors, and consultants to address compliance challenges.

• Provide consultation on plan designs.

• Maintain precise records of filings and outcomes from compliance testing.

• Remain updated on regulatory changes and communicate these updates to the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in ERISA compliance, Non-Discrimination Testing, and Form 5500 preparation is required.

• Proficiency with FT William software in both compliance and 5500 modules is necessary.

• Familiarity with PensionPro or other pension-related platforms is expected.

• Comprehensive understanding of IRS and DOL regulations concerning qualified plans.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and Excel capabilities.

• Outstanding customer service skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Keen attention to detail, compliance with filing, and accuracy is essential.

• ASPPA or CEBS designation (QKA, QPA, or CPC) is highly desirable.
