Retail Representative, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Drive sales and oversee the distribution of designated Mars Petcare products at retail locations.

• Showcase display initiatives to clients and recommend orders.

• Sell and present booking sheets to retail establishments.

• Ensure products are adequately stocked and displayed with appropriate store pricing labels.

• Restock display fixtures, including Mars Petcare racks.

• Obtain secondary space from customers to create displays.

• Utilize POS and other marketing materials where applicable.

• Rotate products on shelves and in storage areas to ensure quality and freshness.

• Maintain customer information, survey records, and tracking data using field sales software.

• Effectively manage the territory through efficient customer coverage.

• Plan and coordinate route schedules based on the company’s call coverage model.

• Keep the ASM informed about territory activities.

• Ensure a sufficient supply of merchandising materials and POS materials.

• Adhere to company protocols for processing credits and checks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma is required.

• Capacity to lift products weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to drive approximately 100 km daily while conducting sales calls.

• Capable of performing repeated movements, including entering and exiting a vehicle, bending, leaning, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping.

• Previous sales experience would be beneficial.

• Must be able to obtain vehicle insurance coverage as specified by Mars Canada Inc.

• A valid Canadian driver’s license is required.
