Retail Representative – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Sell and manage the distribution of assigned Mars Petcare products.

• Present display programs to clients and recommend orders.

• Introduce and sell booking sheets to retail stores.

• Ensure that products are adequately stocked and displayed with appropriate store price tags.

• Replenish display fixtures, including Mars Petcare racks.

• Secure additional retail space for displays.

• Apply point-of-sale and other marketing materials when applicable.

• Rotate products on shelves and in backrooms to ensure quality and freshness.

• Maintain customer, survey, and tracking data using field sales data collection software.

• Oversee the assigned territory through effective customer coverage and resource management.

• Plan and organize route schedules in line with the company's call coverage model.

• Keep the Area Sales Manager informed about territory activities.

• Maintain an adequate supply of merchandising supplies and point-of-sale materials.

• Adhere to company procedures for processing credits and checks.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma is mandatory.

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to drive approximately 100 km daily while conducting sales calls.

• Capacity to perform repetitive movements, including getting in and out of a vehicle, bending, leaning, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping.

• Must secure vehicle insurance coverage as specified by Mars Canada Inc.

• Valid Canadian driver’s license is required.

• Previous sales experience would be advantageous.
