This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement merchandising strategies and priorities.
• Ensure a continuous flow of fresh merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor.
• Execute and uphold merchandising standards.
• Arrange PEI departments by utilizing current merchandising and visual guidelines.
• Collaborate with Visual Managers.
• Ensure that PEI areas feature appropriate graphics.
• Analyze merchandising strategies and suggest enhancements for the shop.
• Guarantee that markdowns are applied on schedule, properly signed, and easy to navigate.
• Maintain consistent communication with management regarding store recaps, floor layouts, and photographs.
• Collaborate with retailers to address store-visit concerns, staff productivity, business opportunities, competitive insights, outpost possibilities, shop locations, and real estate losses.
• Communicate with sales teams and retail partners about stock challenges and opportunities, high or low-performing items, and sizing possibilities.
• Create strategies that drive business through sales contests and innovative merchandising.
• Compare PEI trends with those of competitors.
• Ensure that markdown schedules, staffing, and floor space remain competitive.
• Conduct seasonal or on-demand seminars on brand marketing, product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and sales skills.
• Review business plans, expectations, and weekly/monthly metrics with store management or sales specialists.
• Share information about PEI special events or contests within the assigned territory.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 1–2 years of previous experience as a Retail/Merchandise Coordinator or in visual merchandising.
• Experience in apparel or department stores is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of retail mathematics.
• Ability to read and analyze business reports and purchase orders.
• Capable of multitasking while maintaining excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple brands across different retailers effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently and managing tasks effectively.
• Must have home Internet access and a smartphone.
• Must possess reliable transportation for traveling to stores.
