Respiratory Therapist – Bilingual Preferred

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Works closely with our clinical team to develop, facilitate, train, and educate patients with chronic respiratory diseases through virtual/remote technology.

• Contributes to ongoing program enhancement initiatives by recommending new processes, tools, and techniques.

• Aids in the training and development of both clinical and non-clinical staff by providing education and conducting continuous training programs.

• Conducts virtual Pulmonary Rehabilitation sessions from our San Luis Obispo facility.

• Offers patients education and exercise regimens.

• Collaborates with the team to create patient teaching materials and protocols to improve our Virtual Pulmonary Rehabilitation program.

• Evaluates patient health before, during, and after the program.

• Records clear and concise notes in the medical record.

• Keeps up-to-date with pulmonary rehabilitation information through lectures, seminars, independent study, and more.

• Adheres to all company policies as well as federal, state, and local legal and certification requirements, as applicable.

• Performs other duties as assigned by Leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

• Associate's Level Degree.

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is preferred.

• Current RCP license in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of pulmonary rehabilitation is advantageous.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a licensed Respiratory Therapist.

• Familiarity with chronic respiratory conditions (e.g., COPD, Asthma).

• Experience with respiratory and exercise equipment.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

• Proficient in using video conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, etc.).

• Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to learn quickly.

• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization dedicated to continuously enhancing patient and client experiences and outcomes.

• Experience with Pulmonary Rehabilitation in outpatient and/or virtual settings is a plus.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
