Associate Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide individual therapy sessions for children, adolescents, and adults.

• Conduct 5 to 7 client appointments lasting over 53 minutes each, totaling 32-33 clients per week.

• Allocate up to 50% of appointments for comprehensive assessments of individuals recently discharged from emergency rooms, determining optimal next steps for continued care.

• Offer evidence-based mental health treatment to both adults and children.

• Develop and oversee treatment plans along with clinical documentation.

• Engage in weekly supervision and team consultations.

• Collaborate with psychiatry professionals and integrated care teams.

• Ensure timely and compliant documentation within our EHR System.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in California.

• Active Associate license in California (AMFT, APCC, or ACSW) is required.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, MFT, or Counseling from a CSWE-accredited program for Social Work.

• Familiarity with CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care; EMDR or a specific clinical niche is preferred.

• Capability to engage with clients during emotionally charged sessions with empathy and clarity.
