Resource Planning Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Evaluate demand in relation to available capacity to pinpoint gaps, risks, and opportunities.

• Create forward-looking capacity forecasts instead of merely reflecting on past data.

• Simulate various scenarios to aid in prioritization and recruitment strategies.

• Standardize and uphold delivery and planning KPIs.

• Maintain uniform metrics across different tribes and teams.

• Develop and manage dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights.

• Monitor trends in predictability, utilization, throughput, and bottlenecks.

• Aggregate data from multiple sources into a cohesive, reliable perspective.

• Enhance data quality, consistency, and automate reporting processes.

• Transition the organization from manual data collection to scalable, repeatable methods.

• Identify systemic challenges that affect delivery performance.

• Provide transparent and objective visibility across tribes.

• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to interpret insights effectively.

• Facilitate leadership forecasting and strategic planning with data-driven recommendations.

• Assist in discussions regarding trade-offs, sequencing, and investment distribution.

• Actively promote dialogues between teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify risks, and transform insights into actionable decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data interpretation.

• Experience in capacity planning, resource modeling, or workforce planning.

• Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

• Capability to work with ambiguous data and establish structure and clarity.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Confidence in conveying insights, facilitating discussions, and influencing decisions among engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders.

• Experience in a multi-team or matrixed environment (e.g., tribes).

• Nice to have:

• Background in engineering, delivery, or agile settings.

• Experience in driving automation and standardizing processes.

• Familiarity with forecasting and scenario planning methodologies.

• Exposure to KPI frameworks related to delivery performance and predictability.
