This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Generate material and labor cost estimates for both single and multi-residential double brick projects utilizing Beams Estimating software.
• Draft, review, and distribute HIA/Master Builders residential contracts and addenda tailored for clients in Western Australia.
• Oversee the Beams database, ensuring that price files, supplier rates, and cost centers are consistently updated and precise.
• Manage post-contract variations, guaranteeing that all modifications are accurately costed, documented, and approved prior to the start of construction.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from subcontractors based in Western Australia; generate Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders using the Beams system.
• Support the Australian project team with workflow scheduling, permit tracking, and the upkeep of accurate project folders within the company CRM.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the organization to streamline and elevate processes.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Residential Estimating within Western Australia, with a strong preference for candidates with expertise in AU Contract Administration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Western Australian building standards, particularly concerning double brick construction, plate heights, and cavity specifications.
• Familiarity with Beams Software, including Estimating, CAD Takeoff, and Scheduling modules, is preferred and considered an asset.
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is required.
• Proficient in professional English (both written and verbal) for effective communication with site supervisors and suppliers in Australia.
