Senior Auditor, Food Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct certification audits in any role, adhering to the SGS Global/Local procedures as well as sector-specific schemes and standards.

• Ensure that all responsibilities are executed efficiently and in a commercially viable manner.

• Collaborate with Auditor teams throughout the auditing process.

• Support the training of fellow Auditors and Senior Auditors during scheduled audits or other training activities.

• Actively engage in witness audits conducted by SGS or accreditation organizations.

• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Manager of Certification Audit or the Manager of Technical Accreditation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in animal feed/nutrition, food science, or bioscience is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of work experience with qualifications as a Lead Auditor for HACCP (third-party audit scheme, e.g., SQF).

• At least 2 years of demonstrated management experience within the food industry.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or coordination of food safety management systems.

• Strong foundational knowledge of the technical applications of relevant standards.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.

• Capability to juggle multiple tasks and manage various projects while ensuring timely delivery of results.
