📋 Description

• Create game theoretical models to analyze interactions between the NEAR Intents protocol, distribution channels, market makers, and end users.

• Conduct research, design, test, and refine quantitative trading strategies in on-chain and cross-chain competitive markets.

• Establish frameworks for signal generation, alpha discovery, and performance attribution.

• Develop systematic trading and liquidity optimization features for Defuse's Alpha Platform.

• Collaborate closely with protocol engineering to transform research findings into production-ready systems.

• Build analytical infrastructures, simulation environments, and tools for strategy development and execution.

• Track market conditions, execution quality, and portfolio performance, continually enhancing trading models.

• Work together with product and ecosystem teams to uncover new market opportunities and monetization strategies.

• Contribute to metrics, reporting, and experimentation frameworks to assess strategy effectiveness and business impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quantitative research, algorithmic trading, market making, or systematic investing (7+ years for Senior level candidates).

• A solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing systematic trading strategies in either crypto or traditional financial markets.

• Proficient programming skills (TypeScript required; knowledge of Rust, Python, or Go is advantageous).

• Comprehensive understanding of market microstructure, execution algorithms, liquidity dynamics, and risk management.

• Experience with large datasets and constructing analytical pipelines.

• Capability to collaborate efficiently with software engineers and protocol developers.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to convert research into profitable strategies.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex quantitative concepts to both technical and business audiences.
