Research Compliance Specialist

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive assistance for the research compliance program of the institution.

• Perform compliance evaluations and support audit processes.

• Design and present training on human research protections.

• Develop educational resources and organize workshops and webinars.

• Foster research integrity and accountability throughout academic and administrative divisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., research compliance, public health, social sciences, etc.).

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant program experience.

• Familiarity with human subjects research, IRB operations, research compliance, and education and training.

• Understanding of compliance auditing or monitoring methodologies.

• Knowledge of federal regulations related to research and institutional policies.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and documentation capabilities.

• Experience in developing training programs or educational content.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and service-focused mindset.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic research/compliance systems.

• Comfortable operating in a fully remote setting using tools such as Zoom.
