This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Conducts a thorough and timely evaluation of all products within the global research platform.
• Ensures that all research adheres to FINRA, CIRO, jurisdictional regulations, and the company's policies and procedures.
• Assesses all research intended for public dissemination, including but not limited to notes, reports, marketing presentations, invitations, videos, and podcasts.
• Guarantees the prompt release of all research outputs.
• Verifies that the investment thesis and valuation of an equity security are clearly articulated, justifiable, and provide a solid foundation for the rating.
• Confirms that research reports maintain balanced language and presentation, adequately communicating the risks associated with the investment.
• Validates that financial figures and estimates are relevant to the report and consistently updated throughout.
• Ensures that appropriate company and other disclosures are included in reports, complying with regulatory mandates.
• Ascertains that the information provided is publicly accessible and properly credited.
• Operates effectively as a skilled user of the firm’s research publishing system (BlueMatrix) to ensure that research reports are accurately scheduled and distributed to clients.
• Collaborates with research analysts to resolve language, regulatory issues, numerical discrepancies, and concerns regarding logic and clarity.
• At least 5+ years of experience in a Supervisory Analyst role at a securities firm.
• Ability to adhere to specified working hours.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Holds, or is prepared to obtain within six months, CIRO-recognized qualifications for research approval (e.g., valid PDO under current CIRO transition and expiry rules, or new CIRO Supervisor Exam).
• Experience in reviewing both equity and macro research is advantageous.
• Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects while operating under tight deadlines.
• Strong editing and proofreading capabilities.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, particularly during peak periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with the BlueMatrix publishing system is preferred.
