This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the administrative functions of CHEER’s programs, which includes managing program records and addressing communication requirements.

• Assist in the creation of reports, presentations, and data analysis.

• Support data collection efforts and provide feedback on progress.

• Arrange meetings with program participants and conduct follow-up communications.

• Review data collection forms for programs and verify the work of junior staff conducting data entry to ensure it is done accurately and on time.

• Offer technical guidance to junior staff members.

• Conduct literature searches as needed.

• Aid Investigators in the preparation of manuscripts, presentations, and research activities.

• Participate in staff meetings and initiatives, including relevant quality improvement and educational activities. If unable to attend non-mandatory events, take responsibility for reviewing meeting notes and becoming informed about discussed issues.

• Execute office tasks such as answering phone calls, managing email accounts, picking up and delivering mail, ordering and distributing office supplies, handling faxes, scanning, filing, photocopying, collating materials, and maintaining updated policy manuals.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, preferably in a field related to research.

• At least one to two years of experience in the public health sector or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable.

• Experience in recruiting subjects, with a solid understanding of the ethical and technical aspects of research.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both oral and written.

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities in Spanish are preferred.

• Cultural sensitivity and ease in engaging with diverse social, racial, and ethnic groups.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools is advantageous.

• Capability to perform basic data management tasks such as coding, data entry, data cleaning, and retrieval.

• Competence in basic data analysis and reporting in various formats including words, numbers, and graphics.
