Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Offer content and technical assistance to survey participants through e-mail and phone communication.

• Support survey documentation, particularly data collection methods.

• Engage in comprehensive evaluations of survey data.

• Aid in the preparation of reports and analyses as needed.

• Participate in software and survey testing activities.

• Conduct qualitative tasks such as note-taking during focus groups and interviews, recruitment, and organizing logistics.

• Perform data entry and various administrative duties (e.g., note-taking).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required, ideally in social sciences, business, statistics, economics, or a related discipline.

• At least 1 year of pertinent work experience.

• A strong interest in survey research and/or economics.

• Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, with experience engaging with individuals over the phone in a professional context.

• Customer service experience in any environment (e.g., retail, service industry, medical office, human subjects research).

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks by prioritizing and handling various activities simultaneously in a dynamic setting.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Comfort in interacting with all levels of internal personnel, alongside outside clients and vendors.

• Proven proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, SAS) is preferred.
