Repair Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold repair procedures and testing scripts.

• Collaborate with suppliers and product lines to establish and implement hardware repairs in service centers by testing, diagnosing, fixing, and retesting defective hardware.

• Guarantee that material repairs comply with Hardware Services (HWS) goals and customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).


⛳️ Requirements

• Basic understanding of repair center testing processes, including boundary scan, flying probe, in-circuit testing, electrical and optical functional testing, electrical and optical system testing, and climatic testing.

• Fundamental knowledge of Engineering Change Notices and their implementation, as well as familiarity with system operation software, functional test software platforms, test program applications, and software debugging tools.

• Practical understanding and experience with electrical and optical testing instruments, including transmission analyzers, traffic generators, network analyzers, optical spectrum analyzers, wavelength and power meters, switches, and attenuators for measurements.

• Proficient in navigating data and document repositories along with manufacturing execution systems such as Proligent, PDM, Agile, and Salesforce.

• Capability to analyze repair and testing data, oversee test bench utilization, and assess the number of test benches required based on repair volume.

• Skill to debug units in a failure state utilizing testing programs.

• Competence in managing assets related to test benches and test instruments, including those in use, spare, and anticipated future requirements.

• Ability to conduct cost analyses on various initiatives and provide recommendations based on the findings.
