Repair Technician, Fitness Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Assess, troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and repair fitness bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, massage chairs, and comparable products.

• Deliver final assembly, installation, and/or repair services for consumer goods directly in customers' residences.

• Interpret and understand manufacturers' manuals and repair guidelines.

• Construct products according to manufacturer specifications.

• Commute to and from repair locations utilizing personal transportation.

• Deliver outstanding customer service to upscale clients.

• Utilize a mobile phone for technology-driven tasks and communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge and capability to assess, troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and repair fitness bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, massage chairs, and similar items.

• Ability to read and understand manufacturers' manuals and repair instructions.

• Personal transportation required for travel to and from repair locations.

• Must possess hand and power tools.

• Experience with and mechanical skill to construct products to manufacturer specifications.

• An EIN (federal tax ID) is mandatory.

• Must adhere to insurance and vehicle registration standards.

• DOT/MC numbers may be necessary for vehicles with a GVWR exceeding 10,000 lbs.

• Compliance with state regulations for the vehicle used for work is required.

• Successfully pass background checks and drug screenings, applicable to all contractors, including assistants.

• MVR screening is necessary for driving contractors.

• Strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service.

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in mobile phone usage.

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
