Regulatory Affairs Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supports the commercialization of innovative cannabis products, facility enhancements, and marketing strategies in collaboration with various stakeholder departments by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Maintains a thorough understanding of the relevant regulatory processes across the organization, including but not limited to marketing, supply chain, quality assurance, procurement, and facility operations.

• Conducts internal assessments and offers feedback on packaging, labeling, product hardware, facility changes, marketing and advertising materials, community events, ancillary products, and other related requirements.

• Prepares, reviews, and submits necessary documentation to the appropriate regulatory bodies concerning product commercialization, facility modifications, and marketing/advertising initiatives.

• Keeps abreast of regulatory updates, technical documentation, and engages in industry trade group activities to ensure the Company stays informed of relevant regulatory obligations.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that change management plans are executed to comply with alterations in laws or regulations.

• Assists in the drafting, reviewing, and approval of standard operating procedures.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

• A minimum of 3 years of regulatory and/or related professional experience.

• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of regulatory operations.

• Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Strong organizational and computer skills are essential.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to multitask.

• Background check is required.
