This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• Provide continuous nutrition support to patients and their families to help shift maladaptive eating behaviors towards a healthier relationship with food.
• Create and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
• Conduct initial nutrition evaluations, prescribe meal plans, and evaluate target weight ranges via telehealth.
• Facilitate exposure to fear/challenge foods.
• Clearly communicate meal plans and nutrition-related concerns to treatment team members, educating them on how to address these issues.
• Reinforce treatment team directives during interactions with families.
• Assist in planning for patient discharge.
• Weekly update treatment plans with patient progress, goals, and any nutrition-related assignments or concerns.
• Reassess nutritional needs and relay recommendations to the treatment team and families.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition education that addresses irrational thoughts and beliefs surrounding food, nutrition, weight, and body image.
• Build therapeutic relationships with families through rapport building, setting boundaries, and establishing working alliances.
• Accurately document care in Equip’s electronic medical record system.
• Participate in mandatory meetings, such as group supervision, treatment huddles, labs/all-hands, and individual supervision.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Must hold an active state license in Massachusetts.
• Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree or accredited coursework approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
• Licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is mandatory.
• Experience collaborating on interdisciplinary teams is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with diverse groups are necessary.
• Must be organized and results-oriented.
• Ability to balance business requirements with clinical priorities.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that embraces rapid change and innovation.
• Must be available for 30 hours per week of direct patient care.
• Ability to commit to at least 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in the relevant working time zone.
• Availability to work until 8 pm on two evenings each week is required.
• Must attend mandatory meetings.
• Experience with eating disorders is preferred.
• Familiarity or experience with family-based eating disorder treatment approaches is preferred but not mandatory.
