This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Deliver nutrition-focused care and continuous support to patients and their families engaged in eating disorder treatment.
• Create and execute personalized treatment plans through consistent telehealth sessions.
• Perform initial nutrition evaluations, prescribe meal plans, and determine target weight ranges.
• Facilitate exposure to fear/challenge foods.
• Relay meal plans and nutritional issues to treatment team members while providing education.
• Reflect treatment team directives during interactions with families.
• Aid in discharge planning.
• Revise treatment plans weekly, considering patient progress, objectives, tasks, and concerns.
• Reassess nutritional requirements and convey recommendations to the treatment team and families.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition education that addresses irrational thoughts and beliefs regarding food, nutrition, weight, and body image.
• Build therapeutic relationships with families through rapport-building, establishing boundaries, and collaboration.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in Equip’s electronic medical record.
• Participate in mandatory supervision, huddles, labs, all-hands meetings, and individual supervision sessions.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Active state license in New York.
• At least a bachelor’s degree or coursework accredited or recognized by ACEND.
• Licensed RDN is mandatory.
• Experience in treating eating disorders is preferred.
• Familiarity with or experience in family-based eating disorder treatment approaches is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with diverse teams.
• Experience in interdisciplinary teams.
• Organized and results-oriented.
• Capability to balance business needs with clinical priorities.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment subject to quick changes and innovations.
• Availability for 30 hours per week of direct patient care.
• Availability for at least 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in the working time zone.
• Ability to work until 8 pm two evenings per week.
• Ability to attend mandatory meetings.
• Providers must be licensed or registered as required in each state where they provide care.
