Registered Dietitian – Clinical Research Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough initial nutrition assessments and create personalized care plans in accordance with study protocols.

• Offer continuous nutrition and lifestyle counseling during scheduled Telehealth appointments.

• Provide evidence-based advice on: Caloric intake and macronutrient distribution, Protein and hydration requirements, Strategies for sustainable behavior change, Support for physical activity.

• Review self-reported dietary and activity data from participants before counseling sessions.

• Meticulously document all interactions and participant advancements in line with study protocols.

• Professionally communicate with internal research personnel as necessary to facilitate study goals.

• Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to all documentation and privacy regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Current TX dietitian licensure.

• Proven experience in weight management and knowledge of related therapies.

• Competence in Telehealth technologies for providing remote counseling services.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with varied populations.

• Self-driven with robust organizational skills and a dedication to patient confidentiality.
