This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a team of Regional Accounts Managers within a specified geographical area.
• Advocate for PreventionGenetics’ products and services among physicians and healthcare providers.
• Recruit, train, mentor, lead, and manage team performance.
• Actively promote PreventionGenetics’ offerings directly.
• Maintain up-to-date professional, genetic, and technical knowledge of products, policies, and procedures.
• Provide training, mentorship, and coaching to sales team members, including new hires.
• Accompany direct reports during travel to observe, train, and coach.
• Manage sales targets and report progress to management.
• Establish effective communication and operational mechanisms for the team.
• Ensure compliance of the sales team with Quality, Regulatory, and Company policies.
• Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and decision makers.
• Gather and relay customer insights, market trends, and competitive information.
• Present the technology and clinical benefits that are relevant to customers.
• Ensure the effective utilization of sales processes and approved marketing materials.
• Utilize company resources to create competitive advantages and deliver customer solutions.
• Manage open territories and recruit personnel when positions become available.
• Promote a high-performance culture and lead with integrity, humility, accountability, and courage.
• Delegate responsibilities, evaluate performance, and offer feedback and training opportunities.
• Forecast and meet quarterly and annual sales objectives.
• Uphold the company's mission and values, adhering to Quality Management System policies.
• Exhibit inclusion-minded behaviors.
• Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Be available to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.
• Utilize mobile devices, tablets, or computers and perform typing for around 60% of the workday.
• Travel approximately 60% of the working time, including potential overnight and weekend trips.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a relevant field as specified in the essential duties.
• Over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role within the medical, healthcare, or technical sectors.
• At least 1 year of experience in a sales leadership position.
• Valid driver’s license with no disqualifying status.
• Maximum of two moving violations, events, or accidents in the past 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug-related vehicle incidents in the past 36 months.
• No unacceptable liability findings in the Motor Vehicle Report check.
• Ability to meet healthcare facility access requirements, such as vaccination or mask mandates.
• Capability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to live within one hour of a major airport.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience in selling or leading a sales team in genetics, rare diseases, WES, or WGS testing.
