This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Plan and oversee all sales-related activities for Thales, concentrating on Data Protection products and solutions, particularly with medium to large-sized enterprise clients in the UK&I market.
• Establish and nurture new key business connections, managing every aspect of the sales process with end customers, with a focus on new opportunities and enhancing existing business relationships.
• Collaborate with channel partners to meet sales targets and business goals.
• Manage, develop, and expand strategic prospects and existing customer relationships.
• Identify, qualify, and assess all opportunities within a designated region and spearhead the sales initiatives.
• Create and deliver precise and technically accurate sales presentations to prospective customers.
• Cultivate a high-profile presence within targeted accounts and be regarded as a trusted advisor.
• Oversee all facets of the sales cycle, including prospecting, nurturing customer relationships at all levels, and executing account plans.
• Establish and foster key partnerships with Systems Integrators and channel partner sales teams to ensure the efficient and effective closure of sales opportunities.
• Achieve set objectives to meet revenue and growth targets.
• Collaborate with sales support staff and pre and post-sales teams to enhance customer relationships, forecast and track territory opportunities, and successfully close deals.
• Previous experience in selling within the cybersecurity sector, with a strong requirement for experience in selling data security products.
• Experience in selling application security products is desirable but not mandatory.
• Background in selling software products and/or subscription-based sales directly to medium to large Enterprise accounts.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in the IT industry, though not strictly necessary.
• Experience in managing all stages of the sales cycle, including prospecting, customer relationship development at all levels, and executing account plans.
• Familiarity with multi-element revenue models, encompassing both one-time and recurring revenue streams, potentially involving multiple products.
• Ability to close complex deals, from identifying sales opportunities to finalizing contracts.
• Skilled in up-selling to existing accounts and proactively identifying and acquiring new customers.
• Comfortable participating actively (not necessarily leading) in highly technical discussions.
• Capable of working collaboratively with Sales Engineers to ensure that commercial objectives are met within the territory.
• Sales-oriented with a strong record of independently closing business.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong marketing sense and vision.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
