
Regional Sales Lead – Indiana, Kentucky

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate Territory Managers through regular field engagement (approximately 60% travel), continuous feedback, role-playing scenarios, and practical sales training to ensure effective execution and skill enhancement.
• Take ownership of regional revenue outcomes by fostering consistent activity, aiding both new sales initiatives and account growth, while ensuring Territory Managers achieve their input and output objectives.
• Uphold top-tier Salesforce data management and forecasting, conduct weekly pipeline reviews, ensure data accuracy, and provide support on deal structuring, escalations, and critical opportunities.
• Act as the regional representative by articulating customer insights, providing product feedback, and addressing operational issues to teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, and overall leadership.
• Adapt national strategies into actionable regional plans, facilitate streamlined team interactions (such as one-on-ones and check-ins), and closely collaborate with U.S. commercial leadership on performance metrics and key priorities.
• Attract and nurture high-caliber talent, assisting in the expansion of Territory Manager teams as Halter experiences rapid growth across the United States.
• Strong Frontline Sales Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing field sales representatives, particularly in fast-paced or high-growth settings, with a history of coaching representatives to enhance performance consistently.
• Hands-On, Field-First Mindset: Willingness to spend a significant portion of your time traveling - participating in customer visits, demonstrating best practices, and maintaining a strong connection to real-world customer challenges.
• Expertise in Sales Process & Methodology: In-depth knowledge of contemporary sales practices (such as consultative or challenger sales models, role-playing, and discovery techniques) and the capability to coach Territory Managers in mastering these approaches.
• Pipeline, Salesforce, & Forecasting Discipline: Strong operational discipline with respect to CRM data integrity, pipeline oversight, input metrics, and forecasting precision - particularly crucial in a hardware and software context.
