This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, mentor, recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a team of Oncology Key Account Managers.
• Set performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and manage performance through coaching and evaluations.
• Conduct regular field coaching visits to enhance selling capabilities and improve business performance.
• Meet regional revenue goals, brand performance targets, and commercial objectives.
• Create and implement regional and local business plans that focus on key accounts and customer engagement.
• Translate national brand strategies into regional actions and ensure consistent messaging to customers.
• Analyze performance metrics, market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to uncover opportunities.
• Provide regional forecasts, highlight risks and opportunities, and relay updates to National Sales Leadership.
• Manage priority oncology accounts and support account strategies that promote appropriate product usage.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Trade, Commercial Operations, and Sales Leadership.
• Oversee regional budgets and assess the returns on commercial investments.
• Ensure compliance with CRM documentation, forecasting, expense reporting, training, data integrity, and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or specialty healthcare sales.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals in a complex healthcare environment.
• Prior leadership experience in managing people is preferred, including direct management, field coaching, training leadership, or demonstrated sales leadership roles.
• Experience in leading customer-facing teams and ensuring consistent execution across a geographic region.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Willingness to travel 50–70%, including overnight stays.
• Must either reside within the assigned region or be prepared to relocate before starting.
• Previous experience in oncology sales leadership is preferred.
• Familiarity with product launches, relaunches, acquired brands, or specialty pharmaceutical commercialization is preferred.
• Experience with buy-and-bill products, specialty distribution, hospital systems, and IDN accounts is preferred.
• Established connections within oncology communities and healthcare systems are preferred.
• Strong coaching, talent development, and performance management skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights effectively.
• Comprehensive understanding of oncology clinical and commercial aspects.
• Capability to translate national strategies into regional execution effectively.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
• Proficient in leading through influence and collaborating across various functions.
