Regional Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, guide, mentor, and assist a team of 30-40 healthcare professionals.

• Deliver ongoing feedback for improvement, along with quarterly evaluations of quality and performance for individual clinicians.

• Collaborate closely with the Director of Nutrition and the VP of Clinical Services on initiatives aimed at enhancing care delivery and operational efficiency.

• Create, execute, and assess clinical protocols and standards.

• Actively foster a positive and inclusive team environment.

• Partner with senior leadership to ensure that clinical strategies align with the overarching business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

• Certification as an endocrinologist by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or certification from the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM).

• A valid medical license in the necessary states or a willingness to obtain one as required.

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Director or in Clinical Management overseeing 8-10 clinicians.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the field of obesity medicine.

• Demonstrated experience in managing telemedicine practices and a solid understanding of telehealth technologies.
