Regional Finance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the financial partner to the Regional President overseeing four to five acquired partner companies.

• Evaluate performance, enhance margin and EBITDA growth, and convert analysis into actionable decisions.

• Manage budgeting, reforecasting, variance analysis, and flash reporting on Revenue and Adjusted EBITDA throughout the region.

• Supervise the monthly closing process for partner companies in accordance with GAAP and facilitate the transition from cash to accrual accounting.

• Take charge of cash flow forecasting and working capital management across the region.

• Spearhead ERP implementation and system integrations, standardizing processes across various companies.

• Uphold internal controls and ensure compliance.

• Assist with integration and audits alongside the HoldCo finance team.

• Mentor and lead finance staff while influencing senior operators without direct authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–12+ years of experience in finance and accounting, encompassing both FP&A and controllership roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Experience in multi-entity, regional, or decentralized environments.

• Proven track record of ownership in closing processes, reporting, and variance analysis.

• Strong fundamentals in GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and cash flow/working capital management.

• Comfortability in ERP-level, multi-entity settings.

• Adaptability to learn and establish processes across various systems.

• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.

• Familiarity with percentage-of-completion or job-costing methods is a plus.

• Capability to lead and mentor finance staff while influencing senior operators without direct authority.

• CPA or CMA designation is preferred.

• Must be able to work remotely within the Southeast, ideally located near a major hub airport.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20–25% of the time.
