Regional Dealership Development Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Promote OCCU's Indirect Lending products and services to dealership leaders and their staff.

• Establish new dealer partnerships and enhance existing relationships with both franchise and independent dealers.

• Create outreach strategies to increase dealer penetration and loan volume.

• Follow up on leads and referrals generated from field activities.

• Provide training to dealership staff on OCCU expectations, procedures, guidelines, and contracts.

• Act as a liaison between dealers, underwriting, and Indirect Lending to facilitate smooth deal flow.

• Identify and report dealer issues, misrepresentation, or compliance concerns.

• Maintain a strong understanding of indirect lending regulations and compliance requirements.

• Conduct dealer visits and document outcomes daily in accordance with Dealer Management guidelines.

• Assist with marketing events, partnership activities, and mandatory training sessions.

• Monitor competitor rates, market trends, and dealer performance to inform strategic decisions.

• Address member, dealer, and branch disputes; promptly manage ServiceNow complaints.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of eight years of in-dealership experience as an F&I Manager/Director, Sales Manager, GSM, or GM.

• At least three years of experience in indirect lending, ideally within a financial institution.

• Comprehensive knowledge of dealership variable operations and automotive lending.

• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation abilities.

• Willingness to travel frequently throughout Texas and work evenings/weekends as necessary.

• High level of stress tolerance, professionalism, and independent judgment.

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
