This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist an assigned senior leader in implementing strategic business objectives.
• Collect and synthesize information to enhance the efficiency and profitability of business/group operations.
• Analyze financial and business outcomes and offer planning, support, and recommendations.
• Aid in operational and compliance risk management as well as attestation/reporting processes.
• Provide advice and coordinate logistics for community and industry events.
• Create consistent communication for senior leaders and leadership teams.
• Develop solutions and recommendations that align with business strategies and stakeholder requirements.
• Support the planning and execution of operational programs.
• Assist in strategic initiatives involving both internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze strategic issues, data, and information to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Conduct independent assessments and resolve strategic challenges.
• Monitor performance, address challenges, and generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Create change management plans and lead or engage in readiness, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment activities.
• Define communication strategies, craft tailored messages, and determine distribution channels.
• Cultivate relationships and ensure alignment with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee service and customer complaint escalations until resolution and follow-up.
• Plan and manage unit operating expenses to stay within budget.
• Coordinate budgeting and reporting to evaluate actual results against budgeted figures.
• Utilize tracking and exception-reporting systems for information management.
• Integrate information from various sources to enhance processes, analysis, and reporting.
• Implement BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions that comply with business strategy, policies, laws, and regulations.
• Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical proficiency acquired through education and/or professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective influencing skills.
• Strong data-driven decision-making capabilities.
