This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide independent guidance and support to surgeons in operating rooms, delivering clinical and technical assistance for orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Act as the exclusive Company representative for direct customer support during surgical operations.
• Ensure that all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly.
• Utilize independent judgment to troubleshoot issues and respond effectively to physician needs and customer requests.
• Manage hospital billing processes and handle the creation or closure of purchase orders.
• Convey insights related to customers, procedures, and the marketplace to sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.
• Prepare sales reports and documentation as required.
• Offer consultation services for Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments.
• Maintain, track, and distribute equipment and assets within the designated area.
• Ensure the availability of products and upkeep of promotional materials.
• Confirm that DePuy Synthes services and offerings adhere to quality standards.
• Facilitate the movement of instruments, implants, and equipment between sales representatives and hospitals.
• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) combined with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience; or at least 4 years of professional experience; or a recent transition from Active Military Duty.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed, including frequent overnight and/or weekend trips.
• Residence in or ability to relocate to the geographic area assigned by the Company.
• Capability to work in a lab or operating room setting.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with data analysis.
• Strong results orientation and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Capacity to work independently and with autonomy.
• Ability to navigate and operate within a complex organizational and team structure.
• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in understanding, interpreting, communicating, and operating in complex environments.
• Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology alongside basic surgical knowledge.
• Preferred strong technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
