This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Provide technical sales assistance at the regional level to clients (architects and building owners) to meet sales and profitability goals.
• Accountable for architectural sales and demand generation initiatives within the designated region.
• Drive revenue by incorporating FiberTite’s roofing components into building project design specifications.
• Oversee specification activities in collaboration with building enclosure consultants, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Aid in drafting specifications that align with KEE and ASTM D6754 standards whenever feasible.
• Engage with architects, engineers, and design professionals in both the private and public sectors throughout the assigned area.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including Dodge lead and similar initiatives.
• Promote and reinforce FiberTite’s unique value proposition focused on quality performance.
• Maintain regular communication with FiberTite sales managers and representatives regarding project timelines and appropriate roofing contractor engagement.
• Keep records of leads, customer profiles, and opportunities using Seaman 360.
• Organize in-person lunch & learn sessions or online virtual presentations, including AIA events and others.
• Drive and support additional projects as they emerge, including pre-bid site visits.
• This role requires an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, ideally selling to the architectural sector.
• Must have obtained CDT or CCPR certifications through CSI or be willing to achieve certification within the next year (company-sponsored).
• Possess knowledge of construction drawings and specification requirements.
• Comfortable presenting to both large and small audiences.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Salesforce, WORD, EXCEL, ADOBE, and PPT.
• Familiarity with building materials and building envelopes.
