Railroad Technical Solution Services Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Designing and overseeing software tools utilizing QuickBase and associated applications.

• Creating and sustaining project management and field data collection web applications for both internal and external users.

• Assisting in the coordination, development, execution, operation, maintenance, and training related to QuickBase workflows and best practices.

• Offering QuickBase expertise and support to organizational staff and project teams.

• Establishing and nurturing effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, vendor representatives, and clients.

• Analyzing intricate problems, assessing alternatives, and making sound, well-structured recommendations.

• Collaborating with various skilled personnel from different departments or external clients.

• Supporting the development of QuickBase applications, including the management of QuickBase ‘pipelines’ and jinja coding.

• Clarifying technical issues and concepts for non-technical personnel.

• Planning, overseeing, and executing QuickBase projects; evaluating progress and making necessary adjustments to keep projects on schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

• Experience in Railroad Project Management operations is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience as a QuickBase Application developer or in a similar role, with professional-level experience in the design, development, implementation, and administration of QuickBase Applications.

• Active QB Builder Certificate is required.

• Active QB Pipelines Builder Certificate is required.

• Expert Builder Certificate is preferred.

• Knowledge and experience with Python, HTML, and Jinja is preferred.

• Understanding of emerging cloud-based project management technologies and their application to enhance business operations.
