Radar Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist our Radar Systems team by creating, maintaining, and operating cutting-edge software for phased array radars.

• Oversee the software stack, which includes deployment infrastructure, monitoring systems, real-time GPU processing software, and testing frameworks.

• Develop testing and observability tools (logs, metrics, alerts).

• Enhance the speed and parallelization of unit tests.

• Streamline and document the execution of local unit tests for all team members.

• Create and integrate system/integration tests into the automated testing pipeline.

• Redesign and fortify the radar deployment system to ensure robustness, speed, and reliability.

• Manage CI pipelines and GitHub Actions workflows for the radar software stack.

• Design and maintain an operational dashboard for the Radar team.

• Develop new utilities for data plotting and file writing to facilitate data output.

• Benchmark and evaluate Linux system tuning for real-time radar applications.

• Enhance the configuration management system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python for developing services, tools, and automation.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of software testing methodologies.

• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across software, infrastructure, and operations teams.

• Must be eligible to secure and maintain a U.S. personnel security clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with 3+ years of practical software engineering experience.

• Familiarity with database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL), query creation, and schema design.

• Proven track record of enhancing developer experience through improved test infrastructure, local development tools, or deployment automation.
