This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Overseeing the validation of predictive and machine-learning models tailored to specific business requirements using statistical and advanced mathematical methodologies.
• Leading a team and/or project by offering solutions to business challenges through the application of statistical and quantitative tools/techniques.
• Evaluating and validating models, methodologies, and analytical frameworks.
• Translating technical theories and models for an audience without a technical background.
• Analyzing the suitability of analytical methods employed and assessing their rationale.
• A Master’s degree or its equivalent in statistics, mathematics, economics, financial engineering, data sciences, predictive modeling, or other quantitative fields, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the same disciplines with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient data literacy with knowledge of best practices for data capture and retention.
• Experience in collaborative leadership, partnering with others to anticipate and address needs.
• Familiarity with advanced modeling techniques, including machine learning methods such as XGBoost, LightGBM, and Random Forest.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL/NoSQL, and relational data structures.
• Highly skilled in Advanced Python/R/SAS.
• Eligibility for incentive compensation, which may encompass production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
