Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive quality control audits on utility structures after inspection and restoration activities.

• Ensure that all field operations are executed in accordance with defined specifications and procedures.

• Assess and audit job documentation for precision, thoroughness, and adherence to contractual and company standards.

• Assist Osmose's quality operations and collaborate directly with field teams.

• Identify areas for enhancement and contribute to ensuring that services fulfill or surpass contractual and client expectations.

• Work outdoors under varying weather conditions and terrain.

• Travel within the country, typically 1–4 nights from Monday to Friday, with occasional extended trips lasting up to 10 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in utility operations, construction, or a similar field.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong analytical abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Valid driver's license.

• Completion of the QC Auditor Training Program or a minimum of 1 year of prior QC experience.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk on a regular basis.

• Capacity to occasionally bend, crouch, kneel, squat, stoop, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and work with or around chemicals.

• Willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including heat and humidity, freezing temperatures, and on uneven surfaces.

• Ability to work in proximity to preservatives, coatings, chemical substances, concrete, energized electrical conductors, and machinery.

• Must be a resident of the North Eastern United States.

• Preferred: relevant certifications.

• Preferred: previous experience in the inspection or maintenance of utility structures.
