Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive quality control audits of utility structures after inspection and restoration activities.

• Confirm that all on-site work complies with established specifications and procedures.

• Review and assess job documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to contractual and company standards.

• Collaborate directly with field operations to facilitate quality inspection and testing efforts.

• Spot opportunities for enhancement and ensure that services surpass client expectations.

• Travel domestically, generally 1–4 nights away from home Monday through Friday, with occasional extended trips lasting up to 10 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in utility operations, construction, or a related discipline.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

• Capacity to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Completion of a QC Auditor Training Program or a minimum of 1 year of prior QC experience.

• Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently.

• Capability to occasionally bend, crouch, kneel, squat, stoop, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and work with or around chemicals.

• Willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and uneven terrain.

• Familiarity with preservatives, coatings, chemical substances, concrete, energized electrical conductors, and equipment.

• Must reside in the Northeastern United States.

• Relevant certifications are preferred.

• Previous experience in the inspection or maintenance of utility structures is preferred.
