Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive quality control audits of utility structures after inspection and restoration activities.

• Confirm that all field operations have been carried out in accordance with established specifications and procedures.

• Examine and audit job books for precision, thoroughness, and adherence to contractual and company standards.

• Collaborate directly with field operations to facilitate quality inspection and testing efforts.

• Spot opportunities for enhancement and help ensure that services meet or surpass contractual and client expectations.

• Travel domestically, typically spending 1–4 nights away from home from Monday to Friday, with occasional trips extending up to 10 days.

• Work in outdoor environments, including adverse weather conditions, high temperatures and humidity, freezing climates, and uneven terrain.

• Handle or be in proximity to preservatives, coatings, chemical substances, concrete, energized electrical conductors, and equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in utility operations, construction, or a related field.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

• Capability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.

• Valid driver's license.

• Completion of a QC Auditor Training Program or at least one year of prior QC experience.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk on a regular basis.

• Capability to occasionally bend, crouch, kneel, squat, stoop, reach, and lift weights up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to work with or around chemicals and energized electrical conductors and equipment.

• Willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather, high temperatures and humidity, freezing conditions, and uneven terrain.

• Relevant certifications are preferred.

• Prior experience with the inspection or maintenance of utility structures is preferred.
