Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive quality control audits on utility structures after inspection and restoration activities.

• Ensure that all fieldwork is executed in accordance with defined specifications and protocols.

• Examine and verify job documentation for accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to contractual and company guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with field operations to facilitate quality inspection and testing initiatives.

• Recognize areas for improvement and assist in ensuring that services surpass client expectations.

• Carry out duties in outdoor environments and travel domestically, typically spending 1–4 nights away from home from Monday to Friday, with occasional extended travel lasting up to 10 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be residents of the North Eastern United States.

• Proven experience in utility operations, construction, or a related field is required.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent analytical capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple priorities effectively.

• A valid Driver's License is necessary.

• Completion of a QC Auditor Training Program or a minimum of one year of prior QC experience.

• Capacity to sit, stand, and walk regularly during work hours.

• Ability to occasionally bend, crouch, kneel, squat, stoop, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and work with or around chemicals.

• Willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and uneven terrain.

• Capability to work around preservatives, coatings, chemical substances, concrete, energized electrical conductors, and equipment.

• Relevant certifications are preferred.

• Prior experience in utility structures inspection or maintenance is preferred.
